How to Read the Charts

Look for color transitions on the SST layer — these are temperature breaks where baitfish stack up and predators hunt. Colder water (blue/purple) meeting warmer water (orange/red) creates feeding zones.

Then check the currents layer for eddies that hold fish. Eddies trap bait and create consistent feeding patterns.

🎯

Plan the Run

Check swell and wind forecasts before a trip. Plan a run to a temperature break, route past your home port, and check live buoy data before you push off the dock.

Tip: Use the currents layer to identify upwelling zones — these bring nutrients to the surface and attract baitfish.
